Welcome to pages of civic foundation ProRec centrum Slovensko !Civic foundation ProRec centrum Slovensko , is a voluntary citizens association in conformity with the Act No. 83/1990 Coll. It is an independent association, members of which are subjects with various specializations who showed their will and competence to contribute to electronization of health care.
The Association has two main goals:
- To contribute to improved protection and promotion of health by increased knowledge on health and diseases, and raising awareness on health among the population.
- To contribute to increased efficiency of health care by its electronization.
The Association shall make efforts to:
- raise health awareness of the Slovak population,

raise informedness of professionals on new theories, methods, pharmaceuticals, materials and equipment,

enhance communication between medical doctors and professionals in other human sciences and sciences on human environment, improve interaction of key players in medical informatics: between suppliers of software a their users as well as between providers of health services and their consumers (interaction doctor – patient).
The operational tasks relate to electronization of health care, the key element of which is development of electronic health record in the Slovak Republic compatible with the common European Electronic Health Record.
The Association shall contribute to increased interoperability between health care professionals, health care organizations and paramedical professionals and organizations with a common subject of interest. The interoperability includes national, regional and international level with the aim to create integrated health care and medicine. Fulfilling these tasks involves modern information and communication technologies.
The main methods of Association’s activities:

To create a base for a dialogue and searching consensus among key players in the area of health informatics in the Slovak Republic, initiate and coordinate activities of common interest,

To create a common platform for activities of specialists in medicine, technology, natural sciences and linguistics who work in the area of research and application of new theories, methods, pharmaceuticals, materials and health care equipment.
- To cooperate closely with national foundations and associations with the aim to integrate the Association into ProRec International
The Association shall act as an operational core of professionals in the area of health informatics.
To fulfill these tasks, the Association shall communicate with institutions, cultural and professional associations, civil associations and foundations in the Slovak Republic and abroad and conclude written agreements on collaboration in compliance with the Act No. 83/1990.
